The first ever pop-up bar at Changi Airport Terminal 3 takes flight in conjunction with The Whisky Festival, organized by DFS Group, the world’s leading luxury travel retailer – the fourth festival as of date. This year’s theme takes on a deconstructed whisky cask theme with aims to demystify the Whisky making process. Travellers can now sip on Whisky served neat during the most deranging part of travelling (checking in 2 hours before your actual flight, ugh).
Fret not now, you can numb the pain of waiting with world’s most delicious range of whiskies in the Pop-up bar at Changi Airport Terminal 3, a bar inspired by the mystical and lavish atmosphere of Speakeasy bars of the 1920s Jazz Era and you can even win yourself a trip to Scotland (more on that later)
The Whisky Festival features the first-ever pop-up bar at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 3.
With DFS Singapore Changi Airport offering the largest selection of over 400 whiskies and an array of DFS exclusives – you can taste the world long before you set away from the city’s shores. Whisky Pilgrims can delight in the fact The Whisky Festival is a Whisky’s lover journey’s end itself.
Highlights of The Whisky Festival include Bruichladdich Port Charlotte 10, Compass Box No Name, No.2, Glenmorangie Rare Cask 1399, Johnnie Walker Black Triple Cask Edition and Royal Salute 21 Year Old Lost Blend.
At the bar, travellers can discover interactive experiences with whisky tastings, and vaporizers showcasing a whole spectrum of tastes from floral all the way to smoky and intense at the festival, not just that; something iconic with any whisky lover would be jazz music – be swooned by the daily silky smooth jazz performance by jazz singers such as Carol Gomez, Ywenna Carolin and Richard Jackson all while sipping and waiting.
However, do note that the pop-up bar will be only available till June 10 at Terminal 3, Departure Transit, Concourse Space near Gucci and Burberry.
The Whisky Festival will feature live jazz performances daily
The Whisky Festival will also feature promotions from May 1 to June 30 at The Tasting Bar at DFS Singapore Changi Airport’s Terminal 2 Duplex, The Raffles Long Bar Terminal 3 Duplex and The Whiskey House at Terminal 4 Departure Central. Travellers are invited to enjoy complimentary whisky tastings and gain insights from our qualified whisky ambassadors.
