S$12 All-you-can-eat Lunch Buffet at TASTE restaurant

For a great deal, this S$12++ all-you-can-eat lunch buffet at TASTE restaurant in ibis Bencoolen has got to be the cheapest hotel buffet in town.

Following the successful launch of the hotel’s local Chinese cuisine buffet in January, TASTE restaurant is now showcasing familiar flavours from across the border.

From now until 30 April 2019, get to appreciate and indulge in Malaysian Cuisine including well-known favourites such as Assam Laksa, Bak Kut Teh, Carrot Cake, Curry Noodle, Beef Rendang, Chicken Satay, KL Hokkien Mee, Nasi Kandar, Poached Chicken with Beansprouts, Cendol, ABC Ice Kacang and more.

Not all the items are available on the same day and they are rotated accordingly on a daily basis. When I went on the Good Friday holiday, the restaurant was serving Assam Laksa, Carrot Cake, Rojak and Cendol.

Other than the Malaysian cuisine spread, there is also a selection of other buffet items which are topped up randomly according to what’s available from the kitchen. There was a mix of fried rice, noodles, fried chicken wings, fish fillet and other items when I visited. When a dish runs out, it gets replenished quickly, but sometimes with a different item.

Available throughout the year on weekdays (including eve of and on Public Holidays) from 12pm to 3pm, the TASTE lunch buffet makes for a perfect lunchtime treat with your colleagues, friends and family in a large group gathering.

What’s next after showing street favourites from Singapore and Malaysia?

From May to June, immerse in the signature cuisine of Thailand. Savour authentic dishes such as Tom Yum Soup, Pineapple Fried Rice, Thai Fish Cake, Stir-fried Chicken with Garlic and Basil, Pandan Chicken, Mango Sticky Rice and many more. Two months of fabulous food from the Land of Smiles.
