In conjunction with World Recycling Day, NEX celebrates sustainability through engaging activities and exclusive redemptions that encourage going green, from now till 31 March 2019. Go Green @ NEX and discover that sustainability can be simple, trendy and fun!

Go Green Rewards (7 March to 31 March 2019)

Trade in your disposable plastic spoons and forks for a set of reusable cutlery made of organic wheat straw, which you can redeem at NEX. Biodegradable utensils are lightweight and easy to clean, so you can carry them with you wherever you go.

Redeem a reusable cutlery set and a $5 nexVoucher with a minimum spend of S$200 or $350. Standard Chartered Credit Cardholders only need to charge S$150 or $300 to redeem the set and a $5 nexVoucher. The first 250 cardholders to charge $300 to their Standard Chartered Credit Card will receive an additional $10 nexVoucher.

Maximum of three combined same-day receipts. Redemptions must be made in person. One redemption per shopper/NRIC per day and limited to 2000 redemptions only.

  • Minimum spend can include Cold Storage and Fairprice Xtra receipts.
  • All spending must be charged to your own Standard Chartered Credit Card.
  • NexVoucher limited to 250 redemptions only

Go Green Activities (15 March to 24 March 2019)

Every day from 12 PM to 8 PM, explore the Activity Area at NEX Level 2 that has been transformed into an eco-friendly Cardboard Wonderland. Hop onto the cardboard slide or engage in a spirited game of foosball on a table constructed fully from cardboard. Nurture your creativity and your love for the environment and with your pick of exciting Go Green Workshops.

Redeem a Go Green Workshop Pass with a minimum spend of S$30 in one receipt. Limited to 15 pax per workshop, for ages 5 and above. All passes are redeemable at the Activity Area on Level 2 (outside Bali Thai), one hour before each session. Strictly 1 pass per shopper/NRIC per day.

Make Your Own Terrarium (1 PM – 2 PM)

Add a touch of green to your life, literally, by designing your very own customised terrarium. Terrariums are perfect for injecting a little life into your indoor spaces even if you’re pressed for time or space.

Let’s Go Green Tote Bag (3 PM – 4 PM)

Beat plastic pollution with your very own Let’s Go Green Tote Bag. Stamp on the design that you like and customise to your heart’s content with fabric markers too.

Fancy Paper Plant Making (6 PM – 7 PM)

If you really don’t have green fingers, craft yourself a paper plant.

NEX Donation Drive (22 March to 24 March 2019)

Reduce waste while helping the less-privileged by donating your clean, pre-loved clothes to The Salvation Army at the NEX Event Plaza, Basement 2.
