Starbucks Singapore brings back the Shiok-ah-ccino with a modern take on local favorite flavors

With the country’s 53rd birthday just around the corner, Starbucks has launched a Singapore-inspired menu, starring the homecoming of the Shiok-ah-ccino with a brand-new recipe – the Shiok-ah-ccino Pom Pink Pink Frappuccino Blended Beverage.

A layered concoction with a distinctive taste, it features smooth brown sugar jelly, fluffy whipped cream and a super shiok blend of coconut rose sauce, milk and ice, topped with whipped cream and a drizzle of coconut rose sauce. Ready to get your Pom Pink Pink on?

Accompanying the Shiok-ah-ccino is a mouthwatering, locally-influenced menu of pies and cakes. Satiate your hunger with two pies infused with the sass of well-loved local dishes, the “Mai Hum” Chicken LaksaPie ($5.90) – featuring the heady fragrance of laksa leaves – and the “Hiam Ah” Devil’s Curry Pie ($5.90), which packs a punch inspired by a Eurasian favorite. End your meal on a sweet note with the “Sedap Lah”Pandan Gula Melaka Cake ($6.90), “Tok Kong” NESTUM Cake ($6.90) or the “Orh Orh” KIT KAT Chocolate Cake ($7.50).

Traipse through the iconic landmarks of our cityscape with a new line of Singapore-themed merchandise. Make a toast with the Singapore-inspired cold cups and tumblers as you celebrate our vibrant city, featuring the instantly recognizable Dragon Playground, the HDB flats we grew up in, and more. Completing this collection with a dose of nostalgia are two vintage style enamel mugs (12oz, $19.90 each) that will look at home on any coffee table.
