Fitness Super Star 2018 is here to talent search for local fitness enthusiasts!

Singapore’s first competition, “Fitness Super Star 2018”, will hit local shores in its talent search for Singapore’s top fitness enthusiasts. In collaboration and to be held at Resorts World Theatre, Resorts World Sentosa on 25th August 2018, the inaugural competition sets itself different from the traditional body-building competition while blending with today’s fitness lifestyle trends in style.

Conceptualised by renowned fashion producer-choreographer Hideki Akiyoshi, a familiar household name with the fashion and lifestyle industry here, the competition is designed to be a “live” reality contest that incorporates the whimsical elements of fashion and style.

With over 30 years of marketing experience under his belt where he spearheaded numerous talk-of-the-town fashion events and festivals, “Fitness Super Star 2018” is the latest show concept by Hideki Akiyoshi to bridge the gap between traditional body-building competition and today’s expression of fitness and style.

What Participants can look forward to

Participants of “Fitness Super Star 2018” competition will be vying for several categories in this first-of-its-kind show format that will take place on a grand stage built with world-class visual, lighting and audio facilities designed for theatre. Some of the categories include Male & Female Urban Athletic Style, as well as Male Urban Physique Style, Female Urban Athletic Bikini Style while the grand overall winner will walk away with $2500 cash and other attractive prizes.

Priced at SGD $150 per entry, participants will be trained for professional runway walk workshop, photo and video shoots to enhance their confidence and flair for the competition show.

Producer Hideki Akiyoshi mentioned that they are looking for talents who can be icons or celebrities in their own right, not with the usual acting or performing skills, but because of their passion to keep themselves fit with a sense of style that is relevant to today. With today’s trend where there is an upsurge trend of individuals who take great care of their health, looks and of course physique, while being confident enough to showcase their training regime on social media, ‘Fitness Super Star’ is created with the objective of placing the spotlight on such individuals.
