Things to do on IKEA Singapore’s 40th Anniversary Birthday Bash

In May 1978, IKEA opened its first store in Singapore on 6th Avenue, making beautiful homes a reality for the many through functional and affordable furniture.

To celebrate 40 years of going strong in our endeavour, IKEA will be throwing the biggest birthday bash ever from 10 – 13 May at both the Alexandra and Tampines stores.

From hands-on craft-making workshops that you can enjoy with your little ones, live Swedish cooking demonstrations, food promotions, a furniture auction, live band performances, and special discounts and promotions – there’s truly something for everyone!

Now you can wear your favourite furniture! Stand a chance to redeem a set of 3 limited edition, wearable IKEA 40th anniversary pins when you spend a minimum of $100 in-stores between 10 – 13 May.

Party fun for everyone

Join birthday celebrations with a host of fun events and activities that the whole family can enjoy. Choose from a range of terrarium workshops, Dala Horse colouring, photobooths, and many more!

Other promotions include food deals and treats from May 10-13.

If all you want to do is shop, here are some great deals for you to line up for starting on their first day!

Will you be at their birthday bash? Let us know!
