The major blockbuster hit of the Hollywood film, Black Panther, has intrigued people all over the world regarding the existence of Wakanda. Thus, a Wakanda Park in Wisconsin was built to satisfy the fans in their desperate search of the hidden kingdom.

Hotels.com noticed a noticeable spike in their Menomonie properties. Travel experts also noticed similar scenario in places that sound similar to Wakanda. Wauconda, Illinois, that is pronounced identically to Wakanda, was up more than 25%. Makanda, also in Illinois, was up over 40%. Wakaya, in Fiji, was up over 235% and Wakkanai in Japan enjoyed more than 55% year on year rise.

Cobblestone Inn & Suites at UW Stout Downtown Menomonie

Cobblestone is one of the best hotels in Menomonie having a 9.8 rating in guest reviews. Here you can eat like a true royalty of Wakanda with the hotel’s inclusive buffet breakfast. The hotel is just a 10-minute drive from the park. Rooms available from $171 per night.
