In a world where superheroes have been real for decades, an accountant with mental health issues and zero powers comes to realise his city is owned by a global super villain, The Terror (Jackie Earle Haley), who has been long thought dead. As he struggles to uncover this conspiracy, he befriends a strange blue superhero. Together, they launch into an adventure brimming with crazed archvillains, blood-soaked vigilantes, and superhuman freakery.

The Tick returns with more action-packed episodes! The title hero and his chum will be joined by Overkill (Scott Speiser), Tinfoil Kevin (Devin Ratray), Superian (Brendan Hines), Midnight (voiced by Townsend Coleman), Dangerboat (voiced by Alan Tudyk), and Dot (Valorie Curry) to fight the forces of Miss Lint (Yara Martinez) and The Terror 2.0 (Jackie Earle Haley).

Second season on the way

Amazon Studios has announced a second season of The Tick! The new season, comprising of 10 episodes, will begin production in 2018 and is expected to premiere in 2019 exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in over 200 countries, including Singapore.

Creator of the series Ben Edlund (Firefly, Supernatural, Gotham) will return along with leads Peter Serafinowicz (Guardians of the Galaxy) as The Tick and Griffin Newman (Search Party) as Arthur, with additional casting to be announced.
