Yoku Moku Launches Chinese New Year Sets + GIVEAWAY

Earlier this month, Japanese confectionery brand Yoku Moku set up its new flagship store on level 3 at ION Orchard, after its two hugely successful pop-ups in December.

For the uninitiated, Yoku Moku ranks among the must-buy snacks in Japan. Their best-selling signature item is the Cigare (which means ‘cigarette’ in French) cookie. It’s not hard to see why because Yoku Moku cookies are light yet crunchy. Made with Hokkaido butter, the cookies practically melt in your mouth with each bite and leave you yearning for more.

Every year, Yoku Moku will launch specially designed tins for holidays and special occasions, such as Christmas Day. Very relatable to us is the new Chinese New Year tin (retailing at S$28) that features the Shiba Inu, a Japanese dog breed. We’re pretty sure this CNY special will become a collectible item among dog lovers!

Besides the CNY tin, Yoku Moku has also launched a special packaging for its Cigare polybags that got us exclaiming “kawaii!”

You can find Yoku Moku at ION Orchard, #03-K1. Opening hours are from 10am to 10pm daily.
