UnionPay cardholders will get to go on a shopping rampage this festive season with exclusive privileges in 24 countries.

With over 10,000 merchant partners globally, UnionPay International (UPI) will spoil all their shopaholic members including those in Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, France and the USA. From now until 31 January 2018, members get to enjoy up to 30% discount when they go shopping using their UnionPay cards at participating merchants globally.

“This year’s UnionPay Global Shopping Fiesta is bigger and better than ever before”, said Mr Wenhui Yang, General Manager of UnionPay International Southeast Asia. According to UnionPay’s Smart Traveller Survey findings, destinations such as Bangkok, Tokyo, KL and Taipei topped the list of places that Singaporeans want to visit in 2018.

Pamper your body and look more elegant in Singapore. Cardholders can enjoy S$30 off when they spend SGD $100 or more in a single receipt at Bath & Body Works or Victoria’s Secret. They can also enjoy S$50 off when they spend SGD $200 or more at Kate Spade New York, Micahel Kors or Tumi.

Affordable chocolates just got more affordable in Japan. Members can enjoy as much as 5% off when they spend JPY ¥3,000 or more at Blue Sky Duty-Free. Along with that, a discount of 5% will be given when they flash their membership cards at JAL Duty-Free at Narita Airport and MARU (OIOI).

In Korea, ARITAUM is offering 30% off when members spend KRW ₩100,000 or more. Grab your favourite jeans this festive season at Levi’s while enjoying a 10% discount. Shinsegae Duty-Free is also giving 5% to 15% off depending on your UnionPay Membership.

In Malaysia, Givenchy, Max Mara, and Pavilion Kula Lumpur are offering 5% rebate vouchers for members.

To make shopping a breeze for members, over 3,000 of the participating merchants are also on UnionPay’s U Plan – the first cross-border mobile marketing platform launched by a global payment brand. With U Plan, cardholders can simply plan their purchases and savings prior travelling by browsing through the catalogue of huge privileges using the UnionPay International mobile app. The e-coupons can easily be download into your smartphones.
