High performance U.S. sportswear label finally launched the highly anticipated Under Armour Curry 4. Curry 4 by Stephen Curry was first introduced last 2016/2017 NBA finals. ‘The Journey of More,’ as they call it, reflects directly to the person behind the inspiration of this new collection, Stephen Curry, who’s always hungry for more winning games. From sketches to design iterations, Curry 4 was specifically designed to assist Stephen Curry to do more.
Under Armour’s Curry 4 is strategically equipped with more control and comfort with no break in period. It’s ready to use straight out of the box. Equipped with slip-resistant feature that offers great support on a fast-paced Stephen Curry game. Curry 4 are the shoes the assisted Stephen Curry in snatching the 2016/2017 NBA championship.
Stephen Curry, professional NBA Player under Golden State Warriors, two-time MVP, and NBA Champion, contributed in the designing process suggesting his personal inputs and ideas. It took more than 20 iterations and eighteen months before the whole design team finally came up with a satisfactory output. Kort Neumann, Senior Footwear Designer, said, “I gave him a sketchbook and said, “go through it, if you see something you like, encircle it, and if you don’t like something, feel free to cross it out.” This allowed Stephen Curry to personally create the perfect shoes for him.
Stephen Curry was asked about the inception of Under Armour Curry 4 and he answered, “Making a brand new shoe takes a long time. The process from start to finish requires a lot of ideas and input but that is what makes it fun. So yeah, I feel good playing in it. It’s a progression of the Curry line that we’re trying to continue to elevate and make the best shoe in the market.”
