Unlimited data plans on weekends for StarHub mobile subscribers

Time to ditch brunch plans, order in and Netflix all weekend, thanks to StarHub.

Weekends will never be the same again with StarHub’s suite of new mobile postpaid plans which offer free unlimited local data access on Saturdays and Sundays.

From 12:00am on Saturdays to 11:59pm on Sundays, customers will be able to surf, stream, social network and more to their hearts’ content without having to worry about incurring excess data charges.

Outside of the weekends, customers will have between 3GB and 15GB of bundled data, which can be upsized and shared with loved ones using the popular DataJump and DataShare options.

For a start, customers on these new plans will be able to enjoy faster data speeds of 400Mbps nationwide on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note8 as well as LG G6, LG V20, Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+, and Sony Xperia XZ Premium.

Expecting the imminent arrival of 1Gbps capable phones, StarHub has begun deploying gigabit-class network upgrades to increase bandwidth for customers.

Debuted at The Float@Marina Bay on National Day, StarHub’s 1Gbps network will cover high-traffic locations such as transport hubs and shopping belts in stages.

Starting Thursday (31 August), customers will be able to sign up for the plans online as well as at StarHub Shops, authorised dealers and COMEX 2017.
