New 4-in-1 Dining at Heeren: Angela May Food Chapters, L’Entrecôte The Steak & Fries Bistro, Sabio Tapas Bar and &Made Burger Bistro

There’s a new 4-in-1 dining concept in Orchard. Hospitality group, Deliciae Hospitality Management (DHM) recently launched their first multi-concept destination at Robinsons The Heeren, bringing three of its award-winning concepts: L’Entrecôte The Steak & Fries Bistro, Sabio Tapas Bar and &Made Burger Bistro to join Angela May Food Chapters.

Located at a new wing of the mall specially built for the concept, the two-storey block is also Orchard’s largest terrace designed for all-day alfresco dining.

“There’s something for everyone. It’s a melting pot of great food and drinks of different cuisines,” shares Olivier Bendel, restaurateur and founder of DHM.

The outdoor duplex aptly features the crossing of four different cuisines from both east and west. Opened throughout the day from 9:30am till late, a central menu integrates each restaurant’s specialty dishes, allowing diners to order across concepts.

Extensive menu to order from

The ground floor of the duplex is the comeback place for burger joint &Made, and the third home of Spanish tapas bar Sabio Orchard.

We sampled a few of the signature dishes at each of the restaurant:

&MADE

N.Y Bacon Burger ($24) – Traditional dry aged beef patty, smoked bacon, tomato, garlic mayonnaise, yellow mustard, lettuce, pickled cucumber and cheddar
Angela May Burger ($22) – Steamed flax seed mantou buns, red curry prawn and fish patty, kale salad, laksa yogurt sauce

&Made offers six variations of handcrafted burgers, each featuring homemade buns, patties, toppings and sauce. If you prefer your burger to be sinfully indulgent and conventional, go for the N.Y. Bacon Burger. If you prefer something more unique, try the east-meets-west Angela May Burger with mantou buns and laksa sauce. Note that it is a little spicy.

SABIO

From the Spanish Josper charcoal oven:

El Pulpo ($24) – Grilled octopus leg, ‘Viola’ mash potato and paprika
Le Medula (19) – Grilled bone marrow, toasted baguette and seasoned butter

From the Cold Tapas selection:

Pan Con Tomate ($10) – Toasted bread with tomatoes

From the Hot Tapas selection:

Croquetas de Jamon ($15) – Ham croquettes

Sabio’s name is inspired by the legend of King Alfonso X (also known as ‘El Sabio’/ the Wise One) who decreed all taverns to serve alcoholic drinks with tapas after discovering the magical pairing at a local bar on a hot and windy day. As such, Sabio’s feature a variety of tapas, wines, sangrias, spirits and beers for guests to chill out.

The food menu offer a selection of both cold and hot tapas, traditional Valencian paellas and a charcoal-grilled section using Josper oven from Spain. The grilled octopus was magnificently cooked and the bone marrow was not too gamey. Usually I do not like to eat bone marrow, but the seasoning was done well enough to complement the gamey taste. There’s lots of collagen in bone marrows, so the ladies would love this dish.

L’ENTRECÔTE THE STEAK & FRIES BISTRO

Appetizer: L’Entrecôte Duck Rillettes ($18) – Crunchy pickled gherkins and grilled buttered sourdough from Do.Main
Main course: Tajima Wagyu Ribeye MS8 Trimmed L’Entrecôte Steak ($59.90) – Comes with the legendary sauce, golden French fries and walnut green salad
Desert: Tarte Tatin ($14) – Caramelized apple tart served with crème fraîche

L’Entrecôte The Steak & Fries Bistro is known for their steak-frites. The steak is drizzled with the restaurant’s own secret recipeL’Entrecôte Legendary Sauce and comes with a hearty serving of french fries and garden salad.

ANGELA MAY FOOD CHAPTERS

Fostered by her close relationship with farmers in Singapore in support of locally-farmed herbs, vegetables and sustainable seafood, culinary creator Angela May is flipping the pages to the second chapter of the restaurant with a refreshed menu of healthy Asian food driven by her deep passion for local produce and natural ingredients. New signatures include the Korean-inspired Spicy Bulgogi Lettuce Wraps (S$28) and Truffled Asian Dumplings (S$18).

With a total seating capacity of 220 people across the four spaces, the 4300 square feet venue can host private events of up to 500 people.

A joint partnership between DHM and Robinsons, expansion plans to bring the same model in different locations throughout Asia and Middle East are scheduled in the future.

If you are looking for somewhere where you can have an extensive menu from 4 restaurants to choose from, this is the place to go.
