This quick fix makes for a perfect weeknight dinner as it takes minimal time to prepare this. Simple and yet full of flavour, this recipe has humble origins as a farmer’s dish.

The recipe for this special Italian recipe can be found below.

As with Barilla’s philosophy in staying true to the brand’s Italian roots and wholesome nutrition, Chef Pavanello retained the traditional flavours. At the same time, he put a local spin on this dish by using lady’s fingers,  a vegetable commonly found in local grocery stores and markets.

Born in Treviso, Italy, Michele Pavanello is an award-winning Italian specialty chef committed to serving the finest food for his diners. He joined OTTO in 2008 as resident chef due to an opportunity to work with his mentor and culinary muse Giacomo Gallina again.

In 2009, the well-known chef then became Executive Chef and Partner at OTTO Ristorante. Before OTTO, Michele helmed the kitchens at Pontini and Il Lido as well as other Italian restaurants worldwide.
