DISTRICT6, Singapore’s newest co-working space, is opening doors to new tenants.
Centrally located at Odeon Towers in City Hall and opposite Raffles Hotel, DISTRICT6 makes sure that the companies inside are flooded with natural daylight.
The generous 10,000 square feet space is outfitted with comforting furnishings and a palette of wood and white.
The first real estate tech Hackathon in Singapore hosted in collaboration with IglooHome, slated to happen 21- 23 July 2017 is this month’s event for the space.
On the agenda are keynote speeches and networking hosted by Urban Land Institute, and fundraisers for visionary hotel schools in Myanmar.
The space is set to provide a range of flexi desks, dedicated desks, private studios (for teams of 2 to 4), private offices (for larger companies with 5 to 20 people); and four unique meeting rooms.
Amenities and facilities include small meetings rooms, dedicated phone booths, a large boardroom, and an event space that holds up to 100 people, complete with 8-metre high ceiling with a projectable wall.
The communal ‘living room’ also houses a specialty coffee bar from Kyoto, Kurasu. All beans are sourced by a specialty roaster around Japan to offer the finest selection of brews to keep the team going throughout the day – all complimentary to members of course.
Other perks that DISTRICT6 members can look forward to are discounts at one of Singapore’s most established rooftop bars Loof located right above DISTRICT6.

It is wonderful to know that more and more co-working spaces are opening up. Innovations in the industry, like those of DISTRICT6, challenge how people think of co-working. It appears that this is a solution that is here to stay. We are getting excited for the whole industry!
