Amazon’s American Gods series will be available in Singapore from 1 May

Amazon had announce the upcoming international availability for the highly anticipated series, American Gods, coming to Singapore on May 1, 2017.

Comic book and graphic novel fans should all be familiar with the title. American Gods is a Hugo and Nebula Award-winning novel by famous English author Neil Gaiman, of 300 and The Sandman fame. The novel is a blend of Americana, fantasy, and various strands of ancient and modern mythology, all centering on the mysterious and taciturn Shadow.

American Gods stars Ricky Whittle as Shadow Moon, Ian McShane as Mr. Wednesday and Emily Browning as Shadow’s wife, Laura Moon.

When Shadow Moon is released from prison, he meets the mysterious Mr. Wednesday and a storm begins to brew, a storm that will change the course of his entire life. Left adrift by the recent death of his wife, and hired as Mr. Wednesday’s bodyguard, Shadow finds himself in the center of a world that he struggles to understand—a hidden world where magic is real, where the Old Gods fear both irrelevance and the growing power of the New Gods. Mr. Wednesday seeks to build a coalition of Old Gods to defend their existence in this new America, and reclaim some of the influence that they’ve lost.

  • Neil Gaiman has nothing to do with "300".
    That was Frank Miller.
