The Music Run comes to Sentosa on April 11!

If nothing gets adrenaline coursing through your veins like running to the beat of your favourite music, then you will be thrilled to know that The Music Run™ by AIA will be in town next month.

The Music Run™ by AIA promises a brand new running experience as participants run, dance and party, surrounded by over 100 concert quality speakers pumping out tunes every step of the way for total music immersion experience. It is an un-timed, non-competitive 5km run surrounded by over 100 concert quality speakers. In partnership with Spotify, the official digital music partner, runners can decide the soundtrack for their Rock, POP, Retro, R&B & Dance zones at www.themusicrun.com.sg You can vote for up to five songs per genre, per day.

The Music Run™ by AIA is coming to Singapore for the first time after having been in cities like Kuala Lumpur, Yangon, Bangkok and Jakarta. The Music Run™ by AIA was attended by celebrities such as Woody, the number one talkshow host in Thailand, hit singer Sai Sai in Yangon, and Korean actors Lee Seon Ho and Lim Yoon Ho.

Here are details about the run and how you can sign up for it:

When: Saturday, 11 April 2015, 2.30pm to 8pm; (run starts at 4pm)

Where: Sentosa Beach Car Park, Sentosa Island

How to register: Sign up at www.themusicrun.com.sg by 31 March 2015. Registration ends when all entries are filled.

Registration fees: S$50 (standard); S$75 (rock star); fees include entry to Sentosa (show The Music Run™ by AIA bib to get your entrance fee waived, a The Music Run™ by AIA running pack with goodies inside.

Run pack collection: 4-7 April 2015, 10am to 9pm at *scape

The standard event pack includes: a t-shirt, runner’s tag, a bottle of women’s multivites, a lanyard and a drawstring bag.

The rock star event pack includes all the above, plus: a cap, an sports armband for smartphones and a pair of shades. At the Music Village, which is the start and finish zone, there’ll be live performances on the Spotify stage, interactive activities at the AIA Booth, photo opportunities at the Swisse Bungee, Coca-Cola “Movement is Happiness” Area, Polar Watch Photo Zone, and an F&B area.

The run starts from the Music Village, goes to Siloso Beach Resort, along the beach in the direction of Tanjong Beach Club, and back to the Music Village again. Anyone of any fitness level and age can join in the fun and complete the run at his or her own pace.
