There are many other attraction sites hosting Halloween events for adults and teenagers, but as far as I know, the only one hosting one which is age-appropriate and suitable for the little ones in Singapore is at the River Safari’s Safari Boo event – touted as a “merry-not-scary kids event”:
From a marketing perspective, this is quite smart, capturing the neglected family crowd for Halloween.
I visited Safari Boo together with my son, Asher and my parents on the last day of the event. The River Safari was packed with people. Online tickets were sold out early and many kids were decked in amazing costumes. The event is clearly very successful.
My regret was not dressing Asher in his spiderman costume. He was grumbling about it when he saw all the other kids in their fun and colourful costumes. Next year I will remember.
Here are some pictures we took at Safari Boo:
If you enter from 6pm onwards, admission is free for kids and adult tickets are discounted, but note that the panda enclosure is closed then. If you missed it this year, consider visiting next year when they host the event again.
