The one top reason why most Singaporeans watch the National Day Parade, based on what I gather from postings on Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms, is this:
Most of us are just concerned if our found prime minister, Mr. Lee Kuan Yew is still healthy and strong. At 91 this year, he is the oldest living parliamentarian in the world. Some would say his name supersedes that of even Singapore in the world.
In China, whenever I mention Singapore, his name would pop up, often with admirations.
Now that we know he is still going strong and able to wave a toy flag with enthusiasm, life goes on.
Majulah Singapura and long live Lee Kuan Yew! 🙂
