MEDZS @ Millenia Walk

As the name of the restaurant suggests, MEDZS specialises in mediterranean food, featuring a mix of French, Spanish, Moroccan, Italian, Greek and Turkish cuisines.

The cashless, casual dining concept for MEDZS is similar as Marche, just that instead of offering an assortment of Swiss food, MEDZS offers mediterranean delights.

The restaurants look deceiving small from the outside:

As you walk inward and take a turn, you will discover the long sprawling space with a capacity for 220 diners:

MEDZS recently launched a range of brunch items at very reasonable prices from just S$12.90 to S$14.90.

Here are the brunch items I sampled:

Stacked Brunch Torte (Italian) – Puff pastry, eggs, ham, mushroom, spinach, cheese and bell pepper (S$14.90)

Toasty Tortilla (spanish) – Scrambled egg, stewed beans with chorizo and broche toast (S$14.90)
Le Jolly Monsieur (French) – Ham, bacon, bechemel sauce, cheese, scramble egg and pork bratwurst (S$13.90)
Bouncy Benedict – home-cured salmon, baked tomato, rosti potato, English muffin and salad (S$14.90)

Poseidon’s Wrap (Greek) – Prawn, fish, squid, tomato, lettuce, scramble egg, tzatziki greek salad (S$14.90)

Spicy Chicken Tagine (Morocco) – Tomatoes, capsicum, hard boiled egg and potato pancake (S$13.90)
This was one of my favourite dish for the night
Egg-crowned Shakshouka (Morocco) – Lamb kefta, tomatoes, eggs tagine and garlic toast (S$14.90)
Another of my favourite dish for the night – maybe I am just biased towards Moroccan food
A Berry Pancake Gala – Fresh berries, summer berries, choice of maple syrup/ mango sauce/ vanilla sauce/ strawberry sauce for topping (S$12.90)
A cup of cappuccino to round up the meal

I like their moroccan brunch items. Maybe this is because it is harder to find moroccan cuisines in Singapore and I appreciate them all the more when they are priced so reasonably.

What I like about MEDZS is that the restaurant offers a pretty cosy environment with food priced affordably. This makes it suitable for casual dining with large group of friends or with the family. Don’t expect fine dining cuisines here, but the food quality is above-average; plated and presented beautifully.

To keep patrons coming back for more, MEDZ created two set of brunch menus which will alternate on a weekly basis for their weekend brunch.

Here are the full menu items:
