While the ex-Commissioner of the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), Peter Lim Sin Pang is being investigated by the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB) for allegations of serious personal misconduct, the SCDF ground staff continue to do a good job in keeping Singapore safe.

A lorry carrying gas tanks was in an accident and caught fire at Bukit Batok East Ave 3 on 26 Jan, resulting in multiple explosions.
