I have barely recovered from my stomach flu last week and I am now being quarantined at home for Mumps.
The doctor I saw said the two are not related. It’s just one of those rare double whammy when one is extremely unlucky.
So far, other than a very swollen face that makes me look like Anpanman and some slight aches on my salivary glands, I have yet to experience other Mumps-related discomforts like fever and vomiting. I hope it won’t get any more severe and I can recover within the next few days.
After just two days of eating normal food, I have to switch back to a liquid diet again.
