On Board Royal Caribbean’s Legend of the Seas: Day 3 of 5

Legend of the Seas in Phuket water

On the third day on board Royal Caribbean’s Legend of the Seas (LOTS), the bloggers did some wall climbing in the morning for exercise. This was followed by a Waltz dancing class before the ship docked in Phuket, Thailand, early noon.

We ordered breakfast to our room

There were a few Phuket land tour itineraries available from Royal Caribbean. The omy team followed bloggers, Philip, Estelle and Christine to the scenic Phi Phi Islands (หมู่เกาะพีพี).

Setting off for Phuket!
The little ship that brought us to shore from LOTS

To get there, we need to take an hour bus ride, followed by a few short boat rides. Much time was spend traveling. On the way to Phi Phi, we stopped by a reclining Buddha statue inside a lime cave.

After the cave, it was back on the water again, traveling by small boats to the Phi Phi Islands.

Estelle and Christine gamely changed to their bikinis for a dip in the sea together with the very happy Philip at James Bond Island. Their sacrifice was for us to shoot a snazzy Bond girls spoof starring the three bloggers for omy.sg’s Royal Caribbean site.

The Phi Phi Islands was a beautiful place to hang around. It’s a pity we did not have much time there as we still need to make the journey back on board LOTS.

We had a buffet style dinner in a Phuket restaurant, before heading to a tidbit shop for quick shopping.

Heading back after dark

By the time we made our way back to LOTS, the sky was dark. Exhausted, most of us tucked in early for the night.

This towel monkey surprised us when we returned to our room that night

Stay tuned for my next update on board LOTS.
