“Where’s Tuck Yew?”: New Game for Singaporeans taking Public Transport

Have you seen this man on your way to work today?

Recently, our diligent new Transport Minister, Lui Tuck Yew (吕德耀), has been spotted taking public transport on two occasions – once on board a bus reading a copy of TODAY newspaper and another time on board a MRT train with a copy of my paper newspaper (see how fair he is to split his attention between both SPH and MediaCorp publications).

Kudos to Lui Tuck Yew for leading by experience, going through what ordinary Singaporeans go through daily on our public transport. I sincerely salute him for this and hope to see some major improvement in our public transport system under his lead for the next five years.

Btw,on both occasions, someone took pictures of Lui Tuck Yew and submitted them to citizen journalism website, STOMP.

In view that Lui Tuck Yew may be taking more public transport over the next few days, weeks, or even  years, maybe a new game – “Where’s Tuck Yew?”, in the spirit of the classic “Where’s Wally?” will become a favourite game to pass time for Singaporeans taking public transport. 🙂
