Via EDMW. I am not too sure when these photos were taken, but it’s really funny.
Heavy rain and flooding has become common occurrences in Singapore recently. This dude took it to the extreme and actually CANOE on the street of Singapore.
More photos available on EDMW.
This set of photos was allegedly taken at Rowell Road. I am quite sure the photos are not photoshopped, base on the background scenery of curious bystanders and the shadow of the canoes (very hard to fake).
Maybe someone can organise a Singapore street canoe competition soon? 🙂

Haha ... nice one! Didn't know about this one! Looks like the guy really did canoe around the area at the time!
It's Rowell Road - Little India
Cool DUDE ! And Thanks for the post - purely entertaining.
Water's not really that deep but still...hard to imagine this was in Singapore...hahah
Another YOG event guys? :p
Another world first for Singapore?
It should be true. I lived in one of the houses shown in the pictures in the 1970s. It used to flood like this every December during the monsoon season. Cannot recall the area being flooded in August though.
One of the most gruesome murders in Singapore's history also occurred in one of those houses. A woman dismembered her sis-in-law over some money dispute and scattered the body parts in different parts of the area. One or two body parts were kept in the house itself.
