HOME is a documentary directed by Yann Arthus-Bertrand, a French photographer, journalist, reporter and environmentalist.
This documentary makes me realise how small and insignificant we are as individuals living on planet Earth. Just check out the screen grabs I took of some of the aerial shots seen in the movie:
The film is entirely composed of aerial shots of various places around Earth, taken in over 50 countries in the process. It shows the diversity of life on Earth and how humanity is threatening the ecological balance of the planet. The movie was released simultaneously on June 5 in cinemas all over the world, on DVD, TV and on YouTube. The film is free to view and no profits will be made from its release or future showings.
This means you can even watch this on HD, wide-screen on your laptop or PC via YouTube; for free! How cool is that? 🙂
Hope everyone learn something from the movie and do our part to conserve our resources for future generations.
