As much as Christmas is often criticised by many as a commercialised festive occasion, I like it because the Christmas decors at the malls, the parties, the gifts and the holidays give it a warm and romantic feel. Somehow, these things make Singapore don’t feel like Singapore when you walk down the streets – if you get what I mean. 🙂
I am an atheist, I don’t celebrate Christmas for the birth of Christ, for Easter eggs, for the three wise men or even for Santa Claus. Heck, I actually don’t even know or care why we supposedly REALLY celebrate it for!
To me, Christmas is just a nice period in December where there are no examinations for students and annual leaves coupled with public holidays for the working adults. It is the perfect time for one to cuddle up with their family and loved ones, make merry and well wishes each other for the new year.
Merry Christmas everyone!!!~
