NESCAFÉ Celebrates International Coffee Day with Operation Smile Singapore

Today (29 September) is International Coffee Day!

NESCAFÉ Celebrates International Coffee Day with Operation Smile Singapore - AlvinologyIf you are a coffee lover and would like to find something meaningful to do on this special day, why not head down to Bugis+ to celebrate your love for coffee together with NESCAFÉ?

There will be a series of exciting activities at Bugis+ such as a barista coffee-making workshop, a photo-taking opportunity with a life-sized NESCAFÉ red mug inflatable balloon, coffee caricature, free coffee tasting (including the newly launched NESCAFÉ Ipoh White Coffee flavours – Brown Sugar and Hazelnut) and coffee desserts for fans to enjoy.

As part of its celebrations, NESCAFÉ Singapore will continue to give a special group of people a reason to smile. In support of Operation Smile Singapore, an organisation that helps children and young adults in developing countries who are born with cleft lips and other facial conditions regain their smile through corrective surgery, Mr. Valerio Nannini, Managing Director of Nestlé Singapore (Pte) Ltd and Mr. Chow Phee Chat Marketing Director, Nestlé Singapore (Pte) Ltd together with volunteers from Operation Smile Singapore will be on site to urge you to spread the smiles.

You can show your support from home too – simply become a fan by liking the NESCAFÉ Facebook Fanpage. From this month onwards, for each ‘like’ on their Facebook, NESCAFÉ will donate $0.50 to Operation Smile Singapore, up to a total of $10,000.

I have always been a supporter of Operation Smile Singapore as you can see from the permanent Operation Smile Singapore banner on the right-hand side of my blog. I have already done my part and liked NESCAFÉ on Facebook. I hope you will do so too.

For a little as $360, you can help provide a cleft lip or cleft palate surgery. This surgery can change a child’s life forever and can take as few as 45 minutes. Ten thousand dollars would be able to help at least 27 children to smile. Do spread the word. 🙂
