Christmas is round the corner and local restaurant chain, nydc has launched their Christmas menu with the Hearty Christmas Roast Platter as the signature dish:
This Christmas Platter features chunky strips of grilled Australian marbled sirloin steak; spring chicken marinated overnight and slow roasted with herbs; pork cheese cracker and spicy bratwursts; crispy beer battered onion rings with a bold BBQ sauce and creamy cheese baked Idaho potato gratin served with a bed of fresh salad. The platter also comes with 4 slices of log cake and 4 mugs of the Passionately Fizzy drink.

It is reasonably priced at just $98 – a steal for a 4 pax meal during the festive period! It is ideal for those looking to dine out and celebrate Christmas or for a cosy end-of-year gathering at a budget, yet not compromising too much on food quality. 🙂
Thanks to the folks from nydc, I was invited to sample the Hearty Christmas Roast Platter together with three of my friends, Tianyang, Yock Sian and Kaili:
We slowly ate, chat and whiled our time away at nydc Bugis Junction. Before we knew it, three hours had past!
Tianyang, who is an old JC friend, reminded me that nydc was a very popular hangout place back when we were still in JC in the late 90s.
It still is, judging by how long we lingered at the restaurant without even knowing it. 🙂
