The folks from Rapellez invited me for a facial session two weeks back. Rapellez is a beauty spa who has been around for 9 years now. They currently have 4 outlets in Singapore. You can find out more about Rapellez on their corporate website or facebook page.
As most of my friends and readers would know, my complexion is quite bad. I was not expecting a miracle with just one session of facial, but there’s no harm trying. It also felt good to be able to pamper my tortured skin once in a while.
I visited Rapellez’s Liat Towers outlet on a Friday noon. I was greeted by their marketing executive, Ms. Jessie Davidson, upon arrival. Friendly Jessie briefly ran through an introduction about Rapellez and the kind of treatments they do, before referring me to their beauty consultant.
The consultant had a brief chat with me to understand my skin conditions and then recommended me to do a Rapellez Puri Acne Programme with a Collagen Eye Mask. Following the rates on their treatment menu, these would add up to S$320.
Basically, the facial I underwent contains botanical gels that are good for the reduction of acne and clogged pores. The beauticians had also included the usage of an ultra sound machine for the whole face after the necessary extractions were done.
The facial session lasted for about an hour. It started with a short massage and then the intense cleaning of my dirty face begins. The botanical gels were applied onto my face towards the end, giving a cool, tingling sensation to the skin. It felt so good that I fell asleep while the gels were left on my face to do the work…
After the session, my face did feel much cleaner and fresher. It is hard to describe it in words, but when I met my wife, Rachel and she ran her fingers across my cheeks, she could feel the difference too.
I was rewarded with a gentle peck on the cheek, thanks to Rapellez. 🙂

Hi, I am ur regular customer ftpm Liat Towers. I brought 2 new friends to ur spa on ur anniversary day 2/8/12, I bought a Facial Package on that day was served by Ines with excellent service always. Ur manager Yvonne came into the consultation and persuaded us to buy Body Massage Package too, but I explained to her that ur Body Therapist(May) is no good in massage. Sp Yvonne proposed to we four of them(2 friends / Angie & Arthur – Rapellez customers) will have a 30mins trial Body Massage than to decide to purchase the body package.
We are here today(8/8) to enjoy our Diamond Peel Facial Voucher with my friends together, but when we ask for the 30mins Trial Body Massage, Yvonne came to treatment told me that she without say that to us at all. I wothout argue with her but it very disappoint me & my friends, cause is impossible for all of them(4pax) hear wrongly of what Yvonne have told us on 2/8.
Another service incident would like to bring up to ur attention. When I request my Tummy Thermo Mask Voucher(Lucky Draw on 2/8, worth $120) to change to 3 Ear Candlings(cost $38 each time, 3 x $38 =114) due to my friend have problem on her ear that moment & they might consider to buy any package after Diamond Peel Facial / Ear Candling / Trial Body Massage, ur receptionist Fiela(malay) told us on 8/8 “It is not important on New Customer, is because the Lucky Draw for one customer only”, this non tactic sentence make myself/Arthur(Rapellez customers) was so mad & feel embarrass on ur company, cause it serve no purpose for us to bring new friends to attend ur company. My hubby Arthur told Fiela off “Is better to ask Ines talk to us, her service is better”.
I would appreciate the management can look into this two issues, as we noticed ur new staff services is not as good as previous staff like Ines.
Ines excellent service will never let us feel unhappy even though our propose was rejected, cause she know the service tactic to talk.

Today i called to make appointment through phone, Bernice took my call. She was so Impatience over the phone helping me to check the time slot which suit my timing. After set the available appointment she slam my phone without courtesy goodbye. This piss me off!!!!
Chee Ryn.. I just called the Orchard outlet and she slammed the phone.
In my opinion, the therapist are not too bad, but its those with the smart suit which are totally not customer oriented. Not too mentioned their hard core selling technique which makes me super uncomfortable. This can be improvise.
